I Need To Keep It Real

Why is it that African Americans don't spend money with each other?  The following poem was written because this is what the African American race does with their money.  And just to set the record straight yes I am an African American.  But seriously we need to spend our money more carefully.  Like how about investing some money or simply paying a bill with it.  Yes I said it.  If you can go out and buy those exclusive new J's that drop this week (just an example) then every bill in your house needs to be paid.  There shouldn't be a delinquent bill in your house when you step out in fresh kicks everyday.  But it's not just shoes.  Oh no we spend money on clothes, food, liquor, and bullshit! We make other races rich bitches while we struggle to get by.  Try supporting some of your local mom and pop joints in your area because believe it or not they do exist.  So read my post Sneakers On My Feet and enjoy it but know that it is not to glorify shoes at all.  Stop making shoe stores, corner stores, celebrities, and fast food restaurants richer than what the are.  Take time to do business with yourself or for yourself.  Yeah you can do it, start your own LEGIT business.  I've got faith in you now have faith in yourself.
